Healthy, Catered Food, Daily: We know how busy parents are; we are parents ourselves. Parents don’t always have time to make or feed their children a healthy meal at the end of the day. So, at The Kensington School, students are fed healthy meals, delivered by a catering company, just hours before the meals are served. Unlike many other schools, lunch is not a defrosted meal. Because your children will eat well during the day, you don’t always have to stress about feeding them healthy at home.
At The Kensington School, both Directors have Masters Degrees in Education & Teaching. Both Directors are former classroom teachers, including a Kindergarten teacher. It is no surprise then, that the students who graduate from Kensington are considered better prepared than most of their peers in Kindergarten, when they attend our local elementary schools.

About Montessori & Why It's Beneficial
The Montessori method of education, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, is a child-centered educational approach based on scientific observations of children from birth to adulthood. Dr. Montessori’s Method has been time tested, with over 100 years of success in diverse cultures throughout the world. It is a view of the child as one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared learning environment. It is an approach that values the development of the whole child—physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.
Montessori education offers children opportunities to develop their potential as they step out into the world as engaged, competent, responsible, and respectful citizens with an understanding and appreciation that learning is for life.
